• How to Enjoy Electronic Poker

    [ English ]

Electronic Poker is a beloved game that usually will be enjoyed in casinos across the globe, or alternatively at your house on your personal computer, through a web connection. The game rules are very simple and involve the player trying to achieve the greatest mixture of cards possible in order to acquire cash. In this respect it’s much the same as a classic game of poker, without the interaction with any other players. Of course, techniques employed during a physical game of poker, like bluffing, will be useless in Video Poker.

The game of Electronic Poker starts when the player inserts credits (whether it’s tokens, tickets or cash) into the machine and pushes the play button. A hand of five cards will be electronically ‘handed out’ on the video screen.

The Electronic Poker machine also has buttons with ‘hold’ printed on them, and bettors should now choose which cards to hold and which to discard. For the cards the enthusiast wishes to retain, the ‘hold’ buttons must be pressed so that they illuminate. The player can decide to keep any amount of cards they want, whether it is all or none.

After the gambler has decided on which cards she wishes to retain, the player will then press ‘draw’, which will mean that any new cards are handed out if desired. The game is now completed, with the Video Poker machine analyzing the cards to see if it matches any of the winning hands listed in the payment schedule.

Generally, the lowest succeeding hand on an Electronic Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the prize money growing for each and every better hand. A list of common winning hands begins with jacks or better, and moves on to two pairs, 3 of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, four of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It should be known that the pay out schedule can range from machine to machine, so that discerning bettors are able to select the most beneficial ones every instance.

As soon as the first round has finished, the player can either decide to stay on in an attempt to maximize their earnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any credits that they may have won. Further, a few versions of the game give the enthusiast an opportunity to increase their wins, in which situation another round is played. There are also variations between specific games, with some virtual decks including wild cards and other varying characteristics to increase playability.
