Video Poker is a beloved game that can be enjoyed in casinos all over the globe, or in your house on your computer, using a net account. The game rules are absolutely straightforward and consist of the player trying to achieve the best mixture of cards as you can in order to win money. On this account it’s much the same as a classic game of poker, apart from the involvement with any other players. Of course, methods used in a physical game of poker, such as tricking, will be useless here.

The game of Video Poker begins when the bettor inserts credits (whether it’s tokens, credit slips or cash) into the machine and presses the draw button. A hand of five cards will be "dealt" on the video screen.

A common list of winning hands begins with jacks or better, and moves on to two pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and finally royal flushes. Once the initial round has played out, the player can either choose to continue on in an attempt to maximize their winnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to cash out any credits that might been won. Additionally, some versions of the game allow the gambler an opportunity to increase their profits, in which situation another game is played. There are also differences between individual games, with some virtual decks having wild cards and other differing characteristics to increase playability.
